About the programs

You may begin the program of your choice at any time during the school year (see the start dates on this page. Please note that during school holidays you may be asked to teach smaller groups of children in a less formal setting.

What do you get?

Each program includes the following.

• Placement in a small and friendly primary school for the duration of your choosen program
• Free accommodation. You may choose to share with a friend or have single accommodation
• A moped for getting around the island during your stay

• All the help you need in the classroom
• Authentic teaching experience with children
• The support of qualified and experienced teachers
• Excellent lunchtime meals during schooldays
• Recorded teaching time, depending on your choosen program
• Continuing advice and guidance even after you finish the program

Where and who will I teach?

	We give you the opportunity of a lifetime to teach children on the tropical island of Koh Samui. Some classes are small, about 12 in each class other are bigger depending on the school. Either way they are always full of fun and challenging. You will always be with a qualified teacher who will give you any guidance that you need.
Our programs are so flexible that you may choose how many hours you teach each day. A typical itinerary would be Monday to Friday, two or three sessions per day. Please bear in mind that the program cost remains the same regardless of teaching hours.

1. Program cost includes accommodation and other benefits as detailed above.
2. The full TEFL certificate course is not included in these costs. The TEFL course is a separate program that can be booked here.

Do I have to take a TEFL course before my placement?

No. But our Volunteer Program gives you 2 options.

1. Volunteer teaching only. No TEFL course needed. You choose your start date.
2. Enroll on the full TEFL course and begin your placement on completion of the course.

What is not included in the program costs?

Travel to Thailand.
Visa costs.
Insurance.
